April is here, and the golf course is ready to go. It looks like a good weekend weather wise, so give us a call if you’re going to tee it up this weekend. Our annual Pro-Member Masters Tournament will be held next weekend. Most of you know the drill. You pick a partner from the Pros playing in the Masters Tournament, and pick a day that you are playing at Limekiln. Your score, with 90% handicap, and the two best rounds of your Pro Partner, equals your team score. Lowest score wins. Tournament sign up sheets are attached to this e-mail.
As the weather starts to break, here is the schedule at Limekiln for the next couple of weeks.
The 2009 season officially begins on April 1st. The first weekend in April, April 4th & 5th, starting times will be open to all. Once again, they will be first come, first served. 2009 regular rates will be charged in April, and riding carts will be mandatory for weekend mornings. We will also run a members “Final Four” tournament on the weekend. Members who play on Saturday or Sunday, may enter the tournament, for a $5 entry fee. All entries final net score will be placed in a hat, and four person teams will be drawn at random. The “Final Four” with the lowest score is the winner. Saturday and Sunday players will be combined in the same hat. Golf shop gift certificates will be the prizes. Limekiln’s resident referee, Tom Young, will officiate the drawing. This will insure an honest draw, we think!!
The second weekend in April is Easter Weekend. Good Friday, April 10th, is always a big day. If any members want to make a starting time for Good Friday, make sure you call early to get a time. As always Good Friday is considered a holiday, and holiday rates will be charged.
Easter Saturday, April 11th, we will run a Member/Member, Member/Guest Better Ball of Partners Tournament. Starting times will run from 7AM to 9AM. Details will follow.
Easter Sunday will be a normal weekend play day, with starting times beginning at 7AM.
Our weekend morning Permanent Starting Time Program will commence on the weekend of Saturday, April 18th, & Sunday, April 19th.
